Buddy Media CEO Michael Lazerow Makes Unforgettable Video Following Salesforce Acquisition (Huff Post)

This week, Buddy Media, a social enterprise software company, was acquired by cloud computing giant for a staggering $689 million.

Shortly after he signed the deal, Buddy Media CEO Michael Lazerow made this inspiring YouTube video. Lazerow, who was born with a serious heart defect had a singular message to deliver: learn to live without fear.

Inspired by Ben Breedlove, a young man with hypertropic cardiomyopathy who shared his emotional but uplifting story in a wordless viral video, Lazerow uses an iPad to poignantly convey his powerful message.

When he was 18-months-old, Lazerow miraculously survived heart failure. Then at 19, he had to have an emergency heart valve replacement after his blood pressure fell to zero.

He explained in the video that the near-death experience changed his life entirely, helping him realize that he needed to start living fearlessly.

Lazerow, considered a thought leader on digital media, is a self-described “serial entrepreneur.” Having already started four successful companies, he was named Ernst and Young Entrepreneur Of The Year in the New York region for 2011.

“If you live without fear, anything is possible,” wrote Lazerow. “Is fear holding you back?”

The video is dedicated to Breedlove, who died shortly after publishing his video, as well as Jennifer Goodman Linn, the founder of who died last year after a long battle with cancer.


The Way I See It:

If we trace any negative emotion, any failure and any set back it will always always lead us to something we fear. To be honest YES my fear is holding me back….but Recognizing the presence of fear allows me to make conscious decisions to change it. YES I take the decision to change my fear everyday. I win sometimes and I feel like a free woman…I am getting better and better with every win. They say it takes energy to resist fear BUT I say Resisting fear strengthens it.  It takes a decision to surrender, trust, set the intention and most importantly believing that nothing bad happens and we do have a choice …..I choose to be fearless discovering my limitless potential. CHOOSE TO BE FREE…

The Way I See It:

Every day we have a choice; either to make it a great day or a miserable one, either to be happy or to suffer, to live every minute of it to the full, or to waste it thinking about the past and worrying about the future. Nothing can really stop us of being the person we want. The secret is simple: It is a conscious choice to accept what it is NOW, be thankful for what you have NOW and open yourself to the infinite possibilities that they are NOW topping it with your heart desires and dreams (If you do not know them yet it’s OK. Just ask and you will be answered). TRUST yourself and just watch how everything will be spinning in your favor.

Tony, you made my belief even stronger in the power of our own choices and thoughts Thank you God for my hands, my little fingers, feet, eyes, voice and heart. These miracles I forget I have sometimes.

Steve Jobs (1955-2011), Apple visionary, Passes Away

Apple Co-Founder Passes Away One Day After iPhone 4S Announcement.

Apple announced that Steve Jobs will be resigning as CEO, a position he has held for more than a decade. The company’s official press release stated that the board of directors had named Tim Cook CEO and that Jobs would remain as chairman of the board. Will Apple be the same without Jobs?

I would like to share some of his most inspirational sayings:

The Way I See It: Steve is an inspirational example of following your heart desires, your intuitions and dreams. Believing in yourself and abilities and seeing the good in every hard/bad situation. There is no failure, there is no stupid person, there is no lazy person – I don’t believe that – I believe that if everyone did the thing that he loves, passionate about he will excel and will give it hundred percent of his effort, commitment and this is enough to change the world. Exactly as Steve did.  I love what Steve said about being fired from Apple “I was rejected but still in love” and he was hired back again, the power of choosing to do what we love and believing in ourselves is priceless. I wish that for all of us, our world will be for sure much much better!

Joseph Murphy – The Power of Your Subconscious Mind – How to change our belief System!

What is a “Belief” after all? Belief is a psychological state in which an individual holds a proposition or premise to be true. This means that each of us has different set of beliefs in his mind.  It also means that whatever you believe is TRUE you can change it. So if you believe that “you cannot do something” you also can – if you choose – believe that “you can do it”.

Where do we get our set of beliefs? We are born with unlimited ability and a belief that we can do anything (watch a kid for a day!! See how fast they can learn “stuff” simply because they believe they can) but then come parents, society, religion, norms, traditions etc…and our beliefs start to change, be more and more restricted with a longer and bigger list of “what I cannot do” and “why”. Then all these beliefs get stored like seeds into a place called “our subconscious”.

How to change a Belief?

  • First you have to know that our own list of beliefs is stored in our subconscious.
  • Our subconscious represents 80% of our mind the remaining 20% is our conscious!! Yes all what we are doing is controlled by our subconscious.  This means that whatever we DO is coming, motivated or resulting from a thought, a belief and this voice coming from our subconscious
  • To change a belief we have to change it on a subconscious level (this is why – in my opinion- the law of attraction most of the time is not working because we are only targeting the conscious mind.). We have to feed our subconscious other ideas, words and images. We have to know that our subconscious has no control over what is IN IT. Whatever we will feed it, it will react upon it. So if you feed it differently it will react differently.
  • We can change our subconscious mind through affirmation. YES as simple as that, repetition of affirmation will create wonders in our reality, because our subconscious will act differently.
  • So if you keep telling yourself something like: “I will never get to do this course” CHANGE THIS to: “I am accepted into the course, I am excelling in this study and I can finish this course.”

Check the below video, and see how these people challenged beliefs around them simply because they had other ones in their minds.  Also I think Mohamed Ali got it right long time ago when he said “It’s the repetition of affirmations that leads to belief. And once that belief becomes a deep conviction, things begin to happen. (Ali’s official website)

The Way I See It: if you catch yourself saying I cannot do something…say: who said so?? I can do it. I strongly recommend reading Joseph Murphy’s book. It changed the way I see, accept and look to anything that is going in my mind as well as helped me to change many of my own restricted set of beliefs. I cannot tell you how many things I did since then, a year ago I wouldn’t even dream to do it. One of them is this blog!!
