Changing and Letting Go

Let Go and Grow – Courtesy of Google

When you’re changing your perception on life, letting go of people comes hand in hand with it, usually it will break your heart on a certain level.. but you need more space In your life to the things that really matters.. to the things that make you feel that you matter. Fakeness takes a lot of one’s energy and leave you drained. Be authentic, be real and mostly be true to yourself and to people around you.

The Way I See It:

Don’t be afraid to let go of people when you don’t feel connected to them anymore. They were in your life for a specific time, specific reason and a specific lesson. If they are not changing and evolving in the same direction as you, it’s okay to let them go. You let them go with love understanding that both your journeys are not heading towards the same direction anymore. Don’t fake it, just let it go and be free. Love and light to all the ones who can’t hold a space in our lives anymore.

At The End of The Day: Our Realities Vs. Our Thoughts

The Way I See It That:

At the end of the day the more studies I do, the more work I do, the more I know our realities are just mirrors to our thoughts, to our collective life experiences and the core beliefs we adopted when we were young. At that age and during some traumatic (or non traumatic) events we went through; we decided something about ourselves, the others and the world.

These decisions (beliefs) control our adults lives and decisions right now and how we see everything around us, they shape our perception about anything. The great thing is: we can change, we can be and feel and achieve better, we can speed physical pain healing if we simply worked on untangling our emotions, changed our limiting beliefs and stopped self sabotaging only then we will reach our true potential, will learn about our authentic selves, stop reacting to our lives and start creating the experiences we really want. We will be free, lighter and creators.

Work on yourself is what I want to say.. once you stopped/or never started saying “I am good it’s them yet I don’t know why this is happening to me” know that this is your ego and resistance speaking.

Why Turmeric is a Magical Spice

Amazing Facts about Trumeric… Be Healthy

Miriam Georgy

Turmeric is my favorite spice. It gives food a lovely color, taste and smell. Unlike so many strong spices, no matter how much turmeric I eat, I will not sweat turmeric 🙂

It contains compound called curcuminoids the most important of which is curcumin.

It is a powerful medicine that has long been used as an anti-inflammatory agent to treat a wide variety of conditions, including flatulence, jaundice, menstrual difficulties, bloody urine, hemorrhage, toothache, bruises, chest pain, and colic.

Unfortunately, curcumin is poorly absorbed into the bloodstream. It helps to consume black pepper with it, which contains piperine… a natural substance that enhances the absorption of curcumin by 2000%

Curcumin is also fat soluble, so it may be a good idea to take it with a fatty meal

The curcumin in turmeric is a magical medicinal ingredient, it is:

Speaking of Gaza – Rafeef Ziadeh – We Teach Life, Sir! When Poetry Hurts

Rafeef Ziadah is a Canadian-Palestinian spoken word artist and activist.  She received an Ontario Arts Council Grant from the Word of Mouth’ program to create her debut album Hadeel.  Rafeef started performing poetry in Toronto in 2004 with the spoken word collective Pueblo Unido and is the winner of the 2007 Mayworks Festival Poetry Face-Off. Rafeef’s poetry speaks to the struggle of immigrants to “make it to/in Canada” and the politics of exile.  Being Palestinian she reflects on the realities of her homeland today, to which is not allowed to return> Her debut CD Hadeel is dedicated to Palestinian youth, who still fly kites in the face of F16 bombers, who still remember the names if their villages in Palestine and still hear the sound of Hadeel (cooing of doves). over Gaza.

The Way I See It

Poetry is a gift. We can put words together in a way that hurt, turning to a bullet directed right to your face. One of  the most powerful poem I heard in a long time. Rafeef thank you for reminding me that we are speaking about a HUMAN issue not a POLITICAL issue, you are simply inspirational . I still have this childish dream of both Israeli and Palestinians living in peace.
